I was just coming back in here to post as a reiteration, since I wasn't sure if I was clear enough with "I don't think that's what's going on here" (and obviously I wasn't!) that I'm not comparing Xanthe to Coulter. That second paragraph was a branch issue -- that I don't think there's anything anti-feminist, in principle, with disagreeing with the work of a woman. Obviously Xanthe is not Coulter, in any way shape or form! But just as it wouldn't be anti-feminist to disagree with Coulter, it's not anti-feminist to disagree with McKinnon, or Steinem, or, well, Xanthe.
