Research! Research is key - and all of us are online, so how difficult is it to google something? I put together a post a while back, linking to posts different fans had made, and one of them was all about medical procedures - first aid especially. I'm not a doctor, but I've been around enough family illnesses and injuries to recognize when something seems hinky, and it always bugs me too.
