See, I'm still trying to figure out your rec habits :-)
Because I'd read all the above stories except for the last one and responded to that last one quite differently and none of the others stayed in my mind...well, I'm glad about Math Camp, because I have a young! category where it needed to go, but especially with shorter stories it seems really hard to distinguish one well written from another... Except for the ones that take my breath away, it is difficult for me to separate and distinguish.
I think there are probably much fewer great overlooked writers on longer stories than there are on very short ones.
