*g* That's okay. My wanting people to link to writers' intro pages for the stories (here and everywhere on the comm) has more to do with the writers' wishes than with readers' squicks--they put that info there for a reason, so I like to link to their info pages out of courtesy.
I think (hope) people who are recced will understand that it's about spreading the love, not about misrepresenting anyone. Someone doesn't have to be a new writer to be new to a fandom, and they don't need to be new to a fandom to have been overlooked, in someone's opinion. And they don't even have to have actually been overlooked for it to seem that way to someone. Like everything else, it's all opinion. And recs are such friendly, well-intentioned things.
(And stories that press one's kink buttons can be written just as well as any other, so don't be shy about those. *g*)
