First of all, your icon is vaguely disturbing but oddly mesmerizing. And it works just as well in icon form as it did in postcard form.

Anyway, the point is that you raised an excellent point. I always read fanfic with an objective eye; I don't seek out certain types of fics so much as I avoid certain types. Not everyone reads fic with the same intent, which adds to the already incredibly subjective experience of reading and reacting to fic. Thanks for pointing that out. :)
