I think I want a perfectly imperfect mix -- almost realistic sex, but with true love and understanding and partners always being sexually in sync. Perfect fantasy sex tends to bore me, so I like it to be a little more physically real. I think though, that in the midst of physical realism, I want characters who are feeling/knowing in unrealistic ways. Does that makes sense? (I swear it makes sense here in my head!)
The wonderful thing is that there are really good writers who seem to be right on my wavelength in this regard!
