I like to hold myself to a higher standard too. I know there's some stuff that I won't get right, but I do my best to try and inflict sense and reason on a chaotic fictional world. If it were Battlestar Galactica, I could just shake my head and mutter about the Colonials having bad security procedures. But Stargate is supposed to happen in a universe very close to our own!
