I like your ideas about how John's departure could have been more complex, and there *were* hints at his brokenness earlier, so that could have been a more intriguing payoff. Somehow, for me, it all worked, but I think that's part of Jenn's magic. And the thought of John and Rodney back on Atlantis and able to be happy together just makes me bop up and down.
